Well, this is me!

I'm Kristine — a self-taught abstract artist with a love for colour, texture, and creative exploration.

Back in 2017, a work colleague named Corrina mentioned she was heading home to do some fluid art. I'd never heard of it before, but when she said it involved a blow torch… well, that definitely caught my attention!

Having recently made the sea change and with an empty nest, I decided to give it a go — and I've been creating ever since. Over the years, I've explored all kinds of mediums and techniques (and still do!). In my studio, I usually have several pieces on the go at once. I don't plan much — I just turn up the music and let the creativity flow to see what emerges.

At the end of 2022, I had an incredible trip through the UK, Netherlands, Italy, and Portugal — and came home with about a million photos! Those snapshots, along with my daily walks and whatever inspires me in the moment, often find their way into my work.

In November 2025 I opened Dromana Creative Hub & Gallery — a vibrant space on Beach Street with affordable workshops, a rotating gallery, and studio spaces for other creatives to hire monthly or join as resident artists (like me!). It's been the best kind of hard work, and the space has become every bit the creative home I hoped it would be. You'll usually find me there.
